Health Guarantee –Pet Zone Base
At Pet Zone Base, we certify that the puppy you purchased is in good health at the time of sale, to the best of our knowledge. Your puppy has received all necessary vaccinations and deworming treatments, as detailed in the provided health records. While we have taken every precaution to ensure your puppy is healthy, it is your responsibility to continue with vaccinations, boosters, and routine deworming to maintain their well-being.
We recommend, though do not require, spaying or neutering. Proper care—including quality nutrition, fresh water, shelter, and regular veterinary attention—is essential to your puppy’s long-term health. With responsible ownership and a safe environment, your puppy can grow into a strong and happy adult dog.
Please note that hip dysplasia may be influenced by environmental factors. We encourage you to take preventative steps to reduce the risk.
Two-Week Health Warranty
You are required to have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within two weeks of purchase. If two unaffiliated veterinarians diagnose your puppy with internal parasites, contagious illnesses covered by vaccination, or a serious condition affecting its quality of life, Pet Zone Base will reimburse reasonable veterinary expenses up to the original purchase price.
This guarantee does not cover ticks, fleas, ear mites, or stress-related conditions such as diarrhea or hypoglycemia caused by environmental changes after purchase. We also cannot guarantee the adult size, coat color, or breed-specific traits your puppy may develop.
If Health Issues Arise
If your veterinarian determines—within 10 days of purchase—that your puppy was ill or injured before sale, you may choose one of the following options:
Return the puppy for a full refund
Exchange the puppy for another of equal value
Keep the puppy and receive reimbursement for reasonable vet costs (up to the purchase price)
If, within 30 days, your puppy is diagnosed with a congenital or hereditary defect affecting its health, the same options apply. You must notify us within two days of your veterinarian’s diagnosis to remain eligible for this guarantee.
Extended Genetic Health Guarantee (If Offered)
For conditions proven to be genetic, we may offer extended coverage, provided you submit appropriate veterinary documentation. This does not include standard veterinary care, injuries from accidents, or negligence.
Lifetime Support
Our commitment to you doesn’t end when your puppy goes home. While we can’t promise your puppy will never face health issues, we promise to support you every step of the way. We are always here to offer advice, guidance, and care to ensure your puppy thrives for years to come.
Health Guarantee Coverage
In the rare case that your puppy passes away from a genetic condition within two years of birth, or is diagnosed with a congenital disorder that seriously impacts quality of life, we will offer a replacement puppy of equal value.
If the genetic condition results in death after your puppy’s 10th birthday, we will provide a 70% credit of the original purchase price toward a future puppy. All claims must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian.
